The “Rao Tiew Duay Kan” program has fully utilized all 560,000 hotel entitlements.
All 560,000 entitlements for hotel bookings under Thailand’s “Rao Tiew Duay Kan” Phase 5 program have been used up as of Friday. The program provided a 40% discount on room rates for five nights or five rooms not exceeding 3,000 baht per night. Subscribers also received a 600 baht food and travel voucher to be used with a condition to pay 60% of food expenses in cash and the rest in coupons. However, subscribers could not stay in hotels in the province where they are domiciled. The entitlements are valid from 10th March till 30th April, and the program is expected to generate around 12 billion baht for the local economy at a taxpayer cost of about 2 billion baht. The program does not support airfare.
