Ultra-Crisp, Ultra-Brilliant, Unparalleled Audiovisuals

The RayNeo Air 2 presents exceptional visuals while using less power and lighter display panels, compared with its predecessor, the GLOMO award-winning TCL NXTWEAR S. Harnessing Sony’s latest 0.55-inch Micro OLED screens, RayNeo Air 2’s dual Full HD displays unfold an expansive 46° field of view (FOV) with a crystal-clear clarity of 49 pixels-per-degree (PPD). The glasses bring to users a vivid, detailed, and portable visual experience, equivalent to watching a 201-inch virtual screen from six meters away, akin to being in an immersive movie theater.

Thanks to RayNeo’s TCL-backed cutting-edge display technology, the RayNeo Air 2 boasts an industry-leading image brightness of up to 600 nits. With a sharpness greater than 0.8 MTF, a 108% sRGB color range, and an impressive 100,000:1 contrast ratio, these glasses transform your real environment into a virtual cinematic studio, fully unleashing XR technology’s potential.

Enhanced acoustic phase cancellation technology guarantees your privacy while creating a disturbance-free environment for those around you.

Superior Comfort for Extended Wear

Encased in a sleek and lightweight body, the device is around 15% lighter than the TCL NXTWEAR S. Exclusive air-cushion nose pads create a feather-like touch to your nose. The weight distribution is meticulously optimized to reduce pressure on the face, and the enhanced thermal design ensures your forehead remains comfortable even after prolonged use, whether you’re lying in bed or resting in an airplane seat.

Innovatively, the glasses offer 9 different wearing options to fit a wide range of face shapes. This versatility is achieved with the nose pads’ "front," "middle," and "back" settings, along with three sets of vertical adjustment (for a total of 10°) for the temples, all easily adjustable at your fingertips.

Moreover, the RayNeo Air 2 has attained the industry’s top-level eye protection certification from TÜV Rheinland, covering Eye Comfort, Low Blue Light, and Flicker Free. DiscGenics Announces Research Collaboration with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs for Tissue-Engineered Discs with Discogenic Cells

eDAPS seeded with Discogenic Cells from DiscGenics.

Feasibility Project Awarded VA Technology Transfer Program BRAVE Funding

SALT LAKE CITY, Nov. 9, 2023 /PRNewswire/ — DiscGenics, Inc., a privately held, late-stage clinical, biopharmaceutical company focused on developing regenerative cell-based therapies that alleviate pain and restore function in patients with degenerative diseases of the spine, today announced a basic science Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to assess the feasibility of using DiscGenics’ proprietary Discogenic Cells with the VA’s whole, tissue-engineered endplate-modified disc-like angle ply structure (eDAPS).

eDAPS seeded with Discogenic Cells from DiscGenics.

eDAPS, devised by researchers at the VA and the University of Pennsylvania, are living tissue-engineered resorbable polymer vertebral disc implants that mimic the native structure and function of the disc and are intended to replace degenerated discs in patients with late-stage intervertebral disc (IVD) degeneration.

Discogenic Cells are a manufactured, live progenitor cell population derived from donated adult human intervertebral disc tissue and are used as the therapeutic engine in DiscGenics’ mild to moderate lumbar degenerative disc disease product candidate, IDCT (rebonuputemcel).

Through this ongoing collaboration, researchers have determined that eDAPS manufactured using DiscGenics’ proprietary nucleus pulposus and annulus fibrosus derived Discogenic Cells are mechanically and biochemically distinct from eDAPS using mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs).

"Discogenic Cell-derived eDAPS are a promising translational development, as we can now culture tissue-engineered discs at a scale appropriate for human cervical disc replacement using a translatable human nucleus pulposus and annulus fibrosus cell source," said VA Principal Investigator, Sarah Gullbrand, Ph.D., who is a Research Scientist in the Translational Musculoskeletal Research Center at the Corporal Michael J. Crescenz VA Medical Center, with a co-appointment as a Research Assistant Professor in the McKay Orthopaedic Research Laboratory in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania.

This project has been awarded BRAVE Funding by the VA Technology Transfer Program (TTP), which will further research of this combined technology and support a large animal study of Discogenic Cell-derived implants. The BRAVE Funding is intended to continue innovation of VA-owned technologies and better position the technology for partnering with companies for the benefit of the veteran and broader use in the United States.

"DiscGenics is proud to be collaborating with the VA, Dr. Gullbrand, Dr. Robert Mauck, and their team at the University of Pennsylvania on this important project," said Flagg Flanagan, CEO and Chairman of DiscGenics. "Back pain arising from IVD degeneration is one of the most common causes of limited function in adults. DiscGenics is developing IDCT for mild to moderate lumbar degenerative disc disease, but we recognize that for many patients whose disease has progressed to the severe stage, surgical intervention may be necessary. Utilizing our Discogenic Cell platform to generate implants that could replace degenerated discs would significantly broaden the treatment options for this patient population."

Kevin T. Foley, M.D., Chief Medical Officer of DiscGenics added, "A biologic disc replacement in lieu of existing mechanical devices would continue to change the paradigm of spine care away from a device-centric model to one of disease modification through biologic and cell-based treatments."

About DiscGenics

DiscGenics is a privately held, late-stage clinical, biopharmaceutical company developing cell-based regenerative therapies that alleviate pain and restore function in patients with degenerative diseases of the spine. DiscGenics’s first product candidate, IDCT (rebonuputemcel), is an allogeneic, injectable discogenic progenitor cell therapy for symptomatic, mild to moderate lumbar disc degeneration. IDCT is a mixture of live Discogenic Cells, which are a manufactured progenitor cell population derived from donated adult human intervertebral disc tissue, and a viscous carrier. IDCT has been granted regenerative medicine advanced therapy (RMAT) and Fast Track designations by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. As the only company in the world to develop an allogeneic cell therapy derived from intervertebral disc cells to treat diseases of the disc, DiscGenics has a unique opportunity to offer a non-surgical, potentially regenerative solution for the treatment of patients suffering from the debilitating effects of back pain. In contrast, there were no patients (0/6, 0%) achieving HBsAg loss at the end of 24-week treatment in the placebo cohort. ASC22 was generally safe and well tolerated. Most of ASC22 drug related adverse effects were Grade 1 or 2.

Representatives from companies including Roche, GSK, Gilead, Immunocore, VIR, Arbutus, Aligos and experts from National Institutes of Health, University of Oxford, Massachusetts General Hospital, Johns Hopkins University, Lyon I University, University of Hong Kong, Toronto Centre for Liver Disease, Emory University Center for AIDS Research, Harvard Medical School, Northwestern University, University of Milan also joined the meeting. "It’s a great honor to be invited to the 10th International Workshop on HBV Cure 2023 and share our latest progress in developing the immune checkpoint inhibitor for functional cure of CHB with the global industry. ASC22 is the most advanced clinical-stage immunotherapy in the world for CHB functional cure, i.e. HBsAg loss, through blocking PD-1/PD-L1 pathway. The number of patients with HBsAg ≤100 IU/mL is huge, which accounts for approximately 15%-22% of the total patient population [2][3]. We will continue to accelerate the clinical study of ASC22 and benefit CHB patients." said Dr. Jinzi J. Wu, Founder, Chairman and CEO of Ascletis.

Visitation Revenue Adjusted EBITDA All Surpassed 2019
Solid Market Share and Margin

HONG KONG, Nov. 9, 2023 /PRNewswire/ — MGM China Holdings Limited ("MGM China" or the "Company"; SEHK Stock Code: 2282) today announced the selected unaudited financial data of the Company and its subsidiaries (the "Group") for the three and nine months ended September 30, 2023.

The Group is pleased to see a solid recovery in Macau since the beginning of the year. Macau saw average daily visitor arrival for the third quarter reach 90,025, up by 22% from the second quarter, recovered to 84% of pre-COVID levels of the same period in 2019.

Visitation recovery has boosted gross gaming revenue (GGR). Industry GGR rose 7% quarter-to-quarter to MOP531 million per day, representing 69% of pre-COVID levels, compared to 62% recovery in the second quarter. Industry EBITDA in the third quarter was recovered to an estimated 80% of the same period in 2019.

MGM China continues to outperform industry recovery and grow from 2019. Third-quarter property visitation was 121% of the same period in 2019. Daily GGR was 101% and mass GGR (including slot) was 137% of 2019. Net revenue of the Group grew by 10% to HK$6.4 billion for the quarter compared to 2019. The Group reported adjusted EBITDA of HK$1.9 billion for the quarter, 122% of 2019, consistently outperforming the market. We maintained market share at 14.3% for the quarter, up from 9.5% in FY2019. MGM MACAU market share was 6.4% and MGM COTAI market share was 7.9%. Adjusted EBITDA margin for the quarter also grew 280 basis points to 29.6% from 26.8% in 2019, with a mass-focused business and continuous improvement in operational efficiency. On a property basis, MGM MACAU recorded revenue of HK$2.9 billion for the quarter (3Q19: HK$2.9 billion) and an adjusted EBITDA of HK$880.5 million (3Q19: HK$855.6 million). The Group experienced a robust Golden Week in October, during which market GGR in the month reached a post-pandemic high of MOP19.5 billion, reaching 74% of 2019’s and implying a daily run-rate of MOP629 million.

MGM China market share rose to 15.5% in October, and 14.8% year to date.

Kenneth Feng, President and Executive Director of MGM China said: "We are excited about the recovery in Macau, along with the diversification development of the city. We will continue investing in the gaming floor to enhance table yield. At the same time, we are committed to bringing in more unique integrated tourism experiences to attract international visitors."

During the quarter, MGM had hosted a variety of exciting events in Macau. In August, MGM collaborated with Robb Report Hong Kong to present MGM x RR1 Culinary Masters Macau for a four-day deluxe dining extravaganza – where a team of international and local award-winning chefs came together to create gourmet meals featuring the world’s top wines and delicacies for international guests from over 10 countries. The event fully demonstrates Macau’s unique position as a UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy and its cultural attributes fusing Chinese and Western elements.

Also in August, Asian renowned band Mayday dazzled in a one-night exclusive concert at MGM COTAI with their megahits in their first outdoor performance in Macau. The concert took place against the stunning backdrop of MGM COTAI’s jewelry box design, creating a mesmerizing night view of the skyline, as another testament to MGM’s dedication to providing diverse cultural tourism experiences.

As a supporter of cultural tourism, MGM again collaborated with world-renowned Portuguese artist Joana Vasconcelos to present a large-scale art installation Valkyrie Miss Dior at MGM COTAI. While at the MGM Theater, the Group presented the signature exhibition titled To Infinity and Beyond, which drew on the avant-garde concept of "ART-TECH-TAINMENT" to showcase artworks created since the 1960s by prestigious Chinese contemporary artists Hsiao Chin, as an initiative to support the city-wide international event Art Macao organized by the Macao SAR government.

At MGM MACAU, we hosted an art appreciation exhibition with Buccellati in September at the Grande Praca. The Timeless Beauty with Century-Old Craftsmanship exhibition showcased some exquisite collections and demonstrated the exceptional craftsmanship of the refined Italian jewelry maker to the public in Macau.

"MGM has always trailblazed the innovative fusion of ‘Art+Tourism’, creating art and cultural programs of international standard that seamlessly integrate into our daily lives.
