A homemade bomb exploded in the Muang district of Pattani province, Thailand, late Tuesday night, but fortunately, there were no casualties. The explosion occurred at the Kalapo intersection around 10 PM, prompting an immediate response from authorities.
Fifty minutes after the blast, bomb experts arrived and discovered remnants including a plastic bottle, nails, and oil stains. They also identified another undetonated bomb, which was a glass bottle filled with explosives tied to a petrol bottle.
The authorities acted swiftly, neutralizing the second device using a water cannon. Officials confirmed that both bombs were constructed to detonate remotely and were hidden inside a sack.
