A German man was murdered and dismembered; one defendant received a death sentence while two others received life imprisonment. The victim’s body was discovered in a freezer in Pattaya.
In December 2024, a member of the Outlaws Motorcycle Club received a death sentence, while two others were given life imprisonment for the 2023 murder of German property broker Hans Peter Walter Mack. His dismembered body was discovered in a freezer in Chon Buri after he had been reported missing by his family.
The Pattaya Provincial Court initially imposed death sentences on all three defendants, but those who confessed had their sentences reduced to life. Investigators arrested two German nationals and a Pakistani man for their roles in the horrifying crime.
The trio was charged with murder and theft after abducting Mack and transferring over 3 million baht from his bank account. Evidence led to their indictment, with two defendants confessing during the trial, while a fourth suspect was sentenced for money laundering related to the case.
