Two foreign visitors, an American and a Canadian, died after attending the Electric Daisy Carnival Thailand 2025 in Phuket; authorities are investigating the causes of their deaths.
Two foreign attendees tragically passed away at the Electric Daisy Carnival Thailand 2025 in Phuket on Saturday night. The victims, a 28-year-old Canadian and a 32-year-old American, collapsed during the electrifying music festival held in Thalang district.
Canadian Sharfaraz Maqbul Ahmed was brought to Thalang Hospital at 8:50 PM but was pronounced dead shortly after 9:26 PM despite resuscitation efforts. Similarly, American Minh Nguyen Quang Phan arrived at the hospital later at 11:35 PM and was declared dead at 12:30 AM.
Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding these incidents, with an autopsy planned at Vachiraphuket Hospital to determine the cause of death.
