A recent Agoda survey reveals that Thailand, Vietnam, and Indonesia are the top destinations for Indian travelers looking to revisit their favorite international spots. Singapore and France complete the top five. The survey highlights that 67% of Indian travelers prefer returning to countries known for their cuisine, affordability, and ease of travel.
Adventure leads the reasons for revisits, with 42% of respondents citing it as their main draw. Culinary experiences (22%) and reconnecting with family or friends (20%) also rank high among motivations. Notably, 58% of repeat visitors have traveled to their preferred destinations multiple times in the last decade.
The survey emphasizes the impact of hospitality, as friendly locals influence the travel decisions of 30% of Indian respondents. On a broader Asian scale, Japan joins the ranks of preferred destinations, with 44% of travelers mentioning ease of travel as their primary reason for revisiting.
