Rejuvenation plans have also been carefully crafted to preserve the charm and heritage of the pioneer town – National Heritage Board launched the Toa Payoh Heritage Trail in 2014 and added 2 more sites in 2023. The refreshed trail now covers 29 heritage sites and 10 heritage trail markers. For example, there is an Arts and Heritage Corner within the Town Centre where it features storyboards about the history of the town planning for Toa Payoh, and how it went from swampland to a satellite town.
