The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) has recently introduced the “ESG DNA Project: Sustainability Knowledge for All” to provide employees with crucial sustainability skills. This endeavor aims to translate sustainability concepts into actionable measures, with 257 organizations and over 139,000 employees participating in the initiative. According to SET Senior Executive Vice President Soraphol Tulayasathien, the project, which commenced in July 2023, is open to listed companies, public and private entities, and SMEs eager to grasp and implement core sustainability principles.

ESG DNA Project Features

The ESG DNA project comprises more than 20 e-Learning courses on various sustainability topics, catering to employees at all levels. These courses cover basic sustainability knowledge, ESG insights for supervisors, and greenhouse gas management for strategy-related staff. Participants will gain insights into sustainable business practices, enabling them to incorporate these practices into their work seamlessly and effectively. Additionally, organizations that have successfully trained over 70% of their workforce have been recognized with certificates by SET, encouraging them to utilize sustainability knowledge for long-term success.
