SET Awards 2023 celebrated 20 years with the theme “Benchmark of Excellence”. Winners included Piyajit Ruckariyapong and Kettivit Sittisoontornwong for Best CEO Awards, and 35 companies for Sustainability Awards.
SET Awards 2023 Winners
The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) has revealed the results of the SET Awards 2023, celebrating the 20th anniversary of the event, themed “Benchmark of Excellence”. In the Business Excellence Awards category, Piyajit Ruckariyapong of Sappe pcl (SAPPE) was named Best CEO Awards (SET), with Kettivit Sittisoontornwong of Leo Global Logistics pcl (LEO) receiving the Best CEO Awards (mai). Four companies were presented the SET Award of Honor, including Kiatnakin Phatra Securities pcl (KKPS) for receiving the award for three consecutive years, PTT Exploration and Production pcl (PTTEP), Plan B Media pcl (PLANB), and PTT pcl (PTT) clinching Best Investor Relations Awards, and Best Innovative Company Awards, respectively.
Recognition of Sustainability Excellence
The Sustainability Excellence Awards were granted to 35 leading companies, with 10 companies, including Amata Corporation pcl (AMATA), Banpu pcl (BANPU), and Bangchak Corporation pcl (BCP), receiving Sustainability Awards of Honor for demonstrating excellent performance for three straight years. SET President Pakorn Peetathawatchai congratulated all the winners, emphasizing the importance of business and sustainability standards in advancing the Thai capital market towards sustainable growth. Additionally, the Money & Banking Magazine Editor-in-Chief and SET Awards judging panelist, Santi Viriyarangsarit, praised the increase in Best Innovative Company Awards recipients, highlighting the potential impact on the country’s economic system.
