SET and BOI Launch “Empowering Listed Companies’ Contribution to Community and Society” Project
The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) and the Board of Investment (BOI) have joined forces to introduce the “Empowering Listed Companies’ Contribution to Community and Society” project. This initiative urges listed companies to enhance society by supporting the Foundation for the Crown Prince Hospitals in improving public health services. The project is dedicated to commemorating His Majesty the King’s 6th Cycle Birthday Anniversary on July 28, 2567, with participating companies standing to benefit from incentives provided by the BOI.
BOI Introduces Investment Measures for Community and Social Development
The BOI’s Deputy Secretary General, Suthiket Thatpitak-Kul, has announced new investment promotion measures targeting community and social development. These measures aim to strengthen private sector entities in enriching the quality of life for communities across various sectors. Eligible private sector organizations are encouraged to collaborate with local entities to implement projects focusing on agriculture, education, public health, and environmental issues. Projects approved by the BOI will receive corporate income tax exemptions to support the development of local organizations and improve community well-being.
