BANGKOK (NNT) – The Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI) has piloted a skills development campaign at six community colleges across the country promoting the skills necessary to operate small and medium businesses in the modern world.
This new program initiated by the MHESI at selected community colleges allows students to learn more concerning business management skills with practical job experience at local SMEs. Students participating in this campaign will join a quota to enroll for a university degree later.
Currently, the program is being offered in a pilot program at
community colleges in Phrae, Buriram, Nong Bua Lamphu, Yasothon, Trat, and Songkhla.
The program focuses on both students and their local communities, while promoting further development of local wisdom for commercial applications.
This SME skill development program is a result of coopeation between the Institute of Community Colleges and the Federation of Thai SMEs.
