BANGKOK (NNT) – With the increasing demand for health products and services due to the pandemic, government agencies and private firms will be showcasing health innovations at Bio Asia Pacific 2021 virtual conference taking place online next week.
The biotechnology conference Bio Asia Pacific 2021 is set to take place online next week on 1-3 September to showcase health innovations by Thai developers, while promoting the commercialization of innovative researches in health and biotechnology fields.
Mr Anucha Parnpichate, Senior Project Manager at VNU Exhibitions Asia Pacific, said today that the exhibition and conference program will feature sessions on technology exchanges and business cooperation promotion within the biotechnology industry, covering pharmaceuticals, medical instruments, cosmetics, nutritional supplements, and health services.
According to Mr Anucha, Thailand’s biotechnology industry now has a value of 1.3 trillion baht, and has seen constant growth in the COVID-19 pandemic.
The 3-day virtual event will also feature seminars with panelists from Thailand and abroad discussing some 20 topics, including Thailand’s Life Sciences Industry Outlook After COVID-19, and When will the first shot of a homegrown COVID-19 vaccine be Delivered
The event will also feature virtual exhibitions on biotechnology research advancements; business negotiation sessions for the development of research into commercial production, and a medical robot contest to support medical services and COVID-19 responses.
