Kazakhstan and Thailand approved a visa exemption agreement allowing citizens to stay visa-free for up to 30 days, with a maximum of 90 days within 180 days.
On August 14, the Kazakh government approved a visa exemption agreement with Thailand, originally signed in Bangkok on April 23. This agreement allows citizens of both nations to travel without a visa.
Travelers with valid passports can stay for up to 30 days, with a maximum of 90 days allowed within any 180-day period. For stays exceeding 30 days, a visa is required. Each country reserves the right to refuse entry and manage the stay of individuals based on their laws.
Previously, a visa-free regime was active between the two countries from September 25, 2023, to February 29, 2024, and was extended for six months until August 31.
