Thailand celebrates the launch of Saudia’s direct flights from Riyadh and Jeddah to Phuket, enhancing tourism and trade between the two countries.

New Direct Flights Launched
Thailand is celebrating the launch of Saudia’s new direct flights connecting Riyadh and Jeddah to Phuket. This development is expected to boost tourism between the two nations, strengthening economic and cultural ties. The flights will operate three times a week, making it more convenient for travelers to explore Thailand’s beautiful beaches, rich culture, and vibrant cities.

Enhancing Tourism and Cultural Exchange
The direct flights will enable more people from Saudi Arabia to experience Thailand’s world-renowned hospitality and explore its iconic attractions. In turn, Thai tourists will have easier access to Saudi Arabia’s rich cultural heritage and historic landmarks. This new connection is a significant step forward in promoting mutual understanding and cooperation between the two nations.

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has welcomed the launch of Saudia’s new direct flights connecting Riyadh and Jeddah to Phuket, marking a significant milestone in boosting tourism between the two nations. The new flights, which commenced on October 1, offer a convenient and faster travel option for Saudi tourists, with a flight duration of just over six hours. This development is expected to increase tourist arrivals from Saudi Arabia, which is one of Thailand’s key target markets. To cater to the growing demand, TAT has been working closely with Saudia to promote Phuket as a prime tourist destination, showcasing its stunning beaches, rich culture, and world-class hospitality. The authority has also been facilitating visa applications and providing Arabic-language support to ensure a seamless travel experience for Saudi visitors. With the new direct flights, Thailand is poised to attract more visitors from the Middle East, further strengthening its position as a preferred tourist destination.
