Ko Samui, 2 May, 2017 – The 16th Samui Regatta is scheduled to take place from 20 to 27 May, 2017 at Centara Grand Beach Resort Samui on Chaweng Beach with support from the Tourism Authority of Thailand.
Billed as the “Tropical Island Regatta” and attracting the top racing yachts and sailors from around Asia, the regatta has put Samui Island on the map as a world-class sailing and sports event destination.
According to the event’s organiser, Regattas Asia, more than 500 sailors from 20 countries will be taking part. Meanwhile, the public will be given an opportunity to enjoy the on-water action on a spectator boat. Available on each race day, the spectator boat departs from the beach in front of Centara Grand Beach Resort Samui and bookings are required.
