The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is organizing the ‘Bangkok International Food Festival 2023’ as part of its efforts to promote experiential tourism and showcase Thailand’s gastronomy as one of its 5F soft-power foundations. The festival is scheduled to take place from May 26th to May 30th, between 3:00 pm and 10:00 pm at the centralwOrld shopping plaza and complex in Bangkok.
This five-day culinary event aims to encourage both local and foreign tourists to explore Thailand, while also providing a platform for culinary tours and boosting the local economy. The festival includes four key activities and five zones, as well as live music performances.
The four key activities include creative cooking demonstrations by participating restaurants and eateries, Chef’s Table menus created by world-famous chefs, street food menus adapted by specialized chefs, and workshops focused on fine dining experiences using advanced culinary innovation. Several chefs from abroad have been invited to participate, including Chef Jacob Jan Boerma, Chef Davio Gil Rovira, Chef Alejandro Huertas, Chef Ruben Arnanz, and Chef Saito Daikichi.
