The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has revealed its plan to recover tourism revenue to 2019 levels by 2024. The plan aims to increase off-peak tourism, boost spending per trip, distribute income to more destinations, and encourage visitors to explore more of the country. The TAT plans to leverage digital marketing and offer promotions to attract more visitors. The TAT also plans to develop new tourist destinations and promote niche tourism offerings to reduce strains on popular sites during peak season. The budget for the plan is $144.2 million.
