Bangkok, 13 June 2023 – To celebrate the launch of the highly anticipated Amazing Thailand Grand Sale 2023, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) organized the “Shopping Challenge”. This exciting event featured 12 teams consisting of key opinion leaders (KOLs) and influencers from China, Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan. These teams competed to find the best bargains at Bangkok’s renowned malls.
Each team was given 10,000 Baht and had the task of live streaming their shopping adventure. They had two hours to hunt for the finest products at great prices in malls like MBK Centre, CentralWorld, Siam Discovery, Gaysorn Village, EmQuartier, and Terminal 21. The winning teams were awarded a special prize of 100,000 Baht.
The Amazing Thailand Grand Sale 2023, with the theme “Hunting Season”, will take place from 15 June to 15 August in various cities including Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phuket, Udon Thani, Chon Buri (Pattaya), and Songkhla (Hat Yai). This event offers over 10,000 shopping deals at more than 10,000 participating stores.
In addition to the incredible discounts of up to 80% at major department stores, airlines, hotels, spas, and shopping platforms, there are also exclusive benefits for both Thai and foreign tourists through the ‘3 Get’ campaign.
Get Treasures: Shoppers have the chance to win weekly prizes by spending 500 Baht at participating stores. Prizes include five-star accommodation packages, gold ornaments, iPhone 14, round-trip domestic air tickets, and more. There are a total of 200 prizes worth over 2.5 million Baht.
