Bangkok, 11 August 2023 – The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is proud to support the annual World Gourmet Festival in Bangkok once again. This renowned international culinary event, now on its 23rd edition, will take place from 19-24 September 2023 at the Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel. The festival will showcase a lineup of some of the world’s best chefs.

The 23rd World Gourmet Festival will feature 12 acclaimed chefs from Spain, Italy, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan, Bahrain, and Thailand. Together, they boast 17 Michelin stars and numerous accolades. The festival promises a week-long celebration of exceptional cuisine.

Throughout the festival, these visiting chefs will host exclusive dinners at the hotel’s renowned Biscotti, Café Wolseley, Spice Market, Shintaro, and Guilty restaurants. Additionally, Bangkok’s beloved Arne Riehn and local food presenter, restaurateur, author, TV producer, and star Phol Tantasathien will offer delectable afternoon tea sessions in the Lobby Lounge.

On 19 September, the festival will kick-start with ‘The Constellation of the Stars Gala Dinner’ at Anantara Siam’s ballroom. Five distinguished chefs, including Enrico Marmo, Theodor Falser, Barry Quek, Jimmy Lim, and Arne Riehn, will each prepare one course of a five-course menu, giving diners a taste of the culinary delights to come. This gala dinner follows the success of last year’s inaugural event.
