Thailand expects to welcome up to 30 million international tourists this year and generate 2.3 trillion baht in revenue. The number of visitors is estimated to be between 28 and 30 million, already surpassing last year’s figures. The increase in tourists from China has played a significant role in boosting the tourism sector, and it is predicted that visitors from Europe and the Americas will increase from October onwards. Domestic tourism has also been on the rise, with 20-25 million trips per month due to special holidays. The Tourism Authority of Thailand is implementing various strategies, including a marketing campaign showcasing the country’s cultural heritage and natural landscapes. They are also using social media influencers and online platforms to reach a wider audience, collaborating with popular travel bloggers and influencers to promote different destinations within Thailand.
